Safer Impact Zone Maintenance

SEC Business Group Jackdown Impact Idler Frames allow conveyor idler
frames to be lowered away from the belt using hydraulic cylinders,
enabling safer and faster roller replacement in restricted impact zones.

Designed for Loading and Transfer Areas

Ideal for conveyors where skirts, hungry boards, or other structures
restrict belt lifting and make traditional roller changeouts difficult.

Flexible Configuration Options

Available in 3-roll or 5-roll configurations with single or double
frame assemblies to suit a wide range of conveyor layouts and
loading conditions.

Description

Safer Maintenance for Impact Zone Conveyor Applications

SEC Business Group Jackdown Impact Idler Frames are engineered and fabricated
to meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
Manufactured using advanced production techniques including CNC laser
cutting and robotic welding, these frames deliver exceptional strength,
accuracy, and durability.

All welding is completed in accordance with AS1554.1 SP welding
standards, ensuring consistent quality and tight tolerance control.

Designed for Restricted Conveyor Areas

Jackdown impact idlers are designed for installation in impact zones
or other conveyor sections where skirts, hungry boards, or other
structures restrict belt movement, making conventional roller
replacement difficult.

These idler frames improve maintenance safety and efficiency by
allowing the frame to be lowered away from the belt using hydraulic
cylinders, enabling rollers to be replaced without lifting the belt.

Flexible Idler Configurations

SEC Business Group Jackdown Impact Idlers are available in 3-roll
or 5-roll configurations and can be supplied as single-frame or
double-frame assemblies.

Frames can also be manufactured with different roller width
configurations, such as centre rollers with different widths
to wing rollers, depending on the conveyor design and loading
requirements.

Versatile Application Options

While jackdown frames are typically used with impact rollers in
loading and transfer zones, they can also be fitted with standard
rollers in applications where belt lifting is restricted by skirting
or other conveyor components.

Durable Construction and Supply Options

Frames are supplied galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance
and durability in harsh operating environments, with powder-coated
options available if required.

SEC Business Group Jackdown Impact Idler Frames are available to
suit belt widths from 450mm up to 3000mm, and custom designs can
be manufactured to suit specific conveyor layouts, roller
configurations, and operational requirements.

A wide range of idler frame types and sizes are held in stock
for fast supply.
