Primary Carry-Side Belt Support

SEC Business Group Offset Carry Idler Frames provide reliable load-bearing
support along the carry side of conveyor systems from receiving chutes
through to transition sections.

Offset Roller Belt Protection

The overlapping roller design eliminates gaps between rollers,
reducing the risk of belt damage and making these frames ideal
for thinner belts or belt protection applications.

Durable and Flexible Design

Available in 3-roll or 5-roll configurations and compatible with
standard or impact rollers, with galvanised frames supplied as
standard for long service life.

Description

Enhanced Belt Protection and Load Support for Carry-Side Conveyors

SEC Business Group Offset Carry Idler Frames are engineered and fabricated
to meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
Manufactured using advanced production techniques including CNC laser
cutting and robotic welding, these frames deliver excellent strength,
precision, and durability.

All welding is completed in accordance with AS1554.1 SP welding standards,
ensuring consistent quality and tight manufacturing tolerances.

Primary Load-Bearing Carry Idlers

Offset carry idlers are primary load-bearing idlers typically installed
along the carry side of the conveyor, positioned from the receiving
chute through to the transition idlers at the discharge point.

They provide reliable belt support while helping to minimise belt
damage and maintain stable belt tracking.

Offset Roller Design for Belt Protection

SEC Business Group Offset Carry Idlers are available in 3-roll or
5-roll configurations and can be supplied with different roller
width configurations, such as centre rollers with different widths
to the wing rollers depending on conveyor design requirements.

The offset roller configuration creates an overlap between adjacent
rollers, eliminating the gap where belt damage can occur. This design
makes them particularly suitable for thinner conveyor belts or
applications where belt protection is critical.

Improved Belt Tracking and Versatile Applications

In many applications, the wing rollers are also designed with a forward
tilt, which helps maintain centralised belt tracking and improves
overall conveyor performance.

Offset carry idler frames can accommodate standard rollers or impact
rollers, allowing them to be used in both general carrying sections
and loading zones where additional impact protection may be required.

Durable Construction and Supply Options

Frames are supplied galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance
and durability in harsh operating environments, with powder-coated
options available if required.

SEC Business Group Offset Carry Idler Frames are available to suit
belt widths from 450mm up to 3000mm, and custom designs can be
manufactured to suit specific conveyor layouts, roller configurations,
and operational requirements.

A wide range of idler frame types and sizes are held in stock
for fast supply.
