Retractable impact idlers are designed for use in impact zones or other
conveyor sections where skirts, hungry boards, or structural components
restrict belt movement, making roller maintenance difficult.

These frames improve maintenance safety and efficiency by allowing idler
frame elements to retract away from the belt centreline, providing clear
access for roller replacement without requiring the belt to be lifted.

Flexible Idler Configurations

SEC Business Group Retractable Impact Idlers are available in 3-roll
or 5-roll configurations and can be manufactured with different
roller width arrangements, such as centre rollers with different
widths to wing rollers depending on conveyor design requirements.

Versatile Application Options

While retractable frames are typically used with impact rollers in
loading and transfer zones, they can also be fitted with standard
rollers in applications where belt lifting is restricted by skirting
or other conveyor structures.

Frames are supplied galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance
