The SEC Business Group Staplegrip™ Belt Fastening System provides a
reliable and efficient solution for lightweight conveyor belt splicing.
Staplegrip™ fasteners differ from conventional lightweight fasteners
because the staples are clinched at 90 degrees to the direction of belt
pull, making it extremely difficult for the staples to open or loosen
under load.

This fastening design provides dependable belt joining performance while
maintaining the integrity of the belt carcass in light-duty conveyor
applications.

Improved Belt Protection

Staplegrip™ fasteners are uniquely designed with oval-shaped staples and
smooth rounded edges, unlike many conventional fasteners that use
rectangular staples.

This design helps reduce the risk of damaging the belt fabric while
maintaining secure fastening performance during conveyor operation.

Traditional Staplegrip™ Lacing

Traditional Staplegrip™ lacing has been an industry-standard belt
fastening solution for many years. For manual installation, a staple
dispenser allows staples to be inserted smoothly into the fastener
strip.

Using a field lacing tool ensures the fastener strip is correctly
aligned across the belt. A hammer and punch are then used to drive
the staples through the belt and clinch the fastener securely
in place.

Staplegrip™ Preset Lacing

Staplegrip™ Preset Lacing is designed for use with hammer driver
fixtures, enabling faster and more consistent installation.

Preset lacing is available in the popular 62, 125, and 187 sizes,
suitable for belt thicknesses ranging from 1.6mm to 6.4mm. The
lacing strips are cross-scored, allowing them to be easily broken
by hand to match the exact belt width required.
