SEC Business Group Suspended Carry Idlers provide reliable load-bearing
support along the carry side of conveyor belts while allowing slight
movement to accommodate conveyor alignment changes.
Commonly used in longwall mining and track-shifting conveyors where
conveyor alignment may change during operation.
Available in 3-roll or 5-roll configurations with chain, bracket,
or hook mounting options and galvanised construction supplied
as standard for long service life.
Description
SEC Business Group Suspended Carry Idlers are engineered and fabricated
to meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
Manufactured using advanced production techniques including CNC laser
cutting and robotic welding, these idlers deliver excellent strength,
precision, and durability.
All welding is completed in accordance with AS1554.1 SP welding standards,
ensuring consistent quality and tight manufacturing tolerances.
Suspended carry idlers are primary load-bearing idlers positioned along
the carry side of the conveyor, typically installed from the receiving
chute through to the transition idlers at the discharge point.
Their suspended design allows for slight movement and flexibility,
making them particularly suitable for applications where conveyor
alignment may change over time.
These idlers are commonly used in operations where conveyor systems
are regularly adjusted, such as longwall coal mining or open-cut
track-shifting conveyors.
Their suspension system helps maintain effective belt support while
accommodating changes in conveyor alignment.
SEC Business Group Suspended Carry Idlers can be supplied with a variety
of connection configurations, including chains, brackets, or hook mounts,
allowing them to be adapted to different conveyor structures and
installation requirements.
They are available in 3-roll or 5-roll configurations and can be
manufactured with different roller width arrangements, such as centre
rollers with different widths to wing rollers.
Suspended carry idlers can be fitted with standard rollers or impact
rollers, making them suitable for both general carry sections and
loading zone applications where impact protection is required.
Components are supplied galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance
and durability, with powder-coated options available if required.
SEC Business Group Suspended Carry Idlers are available to suit belt
widths from 450mm up to 3000mm, with custom designs available to
accommodate specific conveyor layouts, roller configurations,
and operational requirements.
A wide range of suspended idler types and sizes are held in stock
for fast supply.
