SEC Business Group Transition Idler Frames are designed to support
conveyor belts as they transition between flat and troughed sections,
reducing belt stress and preventing premature belt wear.
Available in 3-roll and 5-roll configurations with multiple transition
angle ranges to suit different conveyor designs and operating conditions.
Manufactured using CNC laser cutting and robotic welding with frames
supplied galvanised as standard for corrosion resistance and long
service life.
Description
SEC Business Group Transition Idler Frames are engineered and fabricated
to meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
Manufactured using advanced production methods including CNC laser
cutting and robotic welding, these frames deliver exceptional strength,
precision, and durability.
All welding is performed in accordance with AS1554.1 SP welding standards,
ensuring consistent quality and tight tolerance control across all
manufactured components.
Transition idlers are installed in the section of the conveyor where the
belt transitions from a flat profile to a troughed configuration, or from
trough back to flat. Proper transition support is critical in preventing
excessive belt stress, edge damage, and premature belt wear.
By gradually introducing the trough angle, transition idlers help maintain
proper belt alignment and load support, ensuring reliable conveyor
operation and extended belt life.
SEC Business Group Transition Idlers are available in both 3-roll and
5-roll configurations, allowing the transition angle to be progressively
adjusted to suit different conveyor designs and operating conditions.
Multiple transition angle ranges are available to accommodate varying
belt tensions, conveyor lengths, and loading conditions.
Custom transition angle ranges can also be supplied to suit specific
conveyor designs and operational requirements.
Transition idler frames are supplied galvanised as standard to provide
excellent corrosion resistance in demanding operating environments.
Powder-coated finishes are also available where specific coating
requirements apply.
Frames are available to suit belt widths from 450mm up to 3000mm, and
custom designs can be produced to suit specialised roller configurations
or conveyor layouts.
